The Art of Noticing: Finding Movement in Stillness

The Art of Noticing | A Conversation with Nature I sit on a fallen tree trunk, the kind that has lived its life standing tall and now rests just as gracefully, offering me a place to pause. The air is thick with stillness, but if you listen closely, there’s movement in everything. The wind plays in the trees, the leaves whisper secrets, and somehow i manage not to have that annoying wind blowing sound in my microphone. I am here to talk about the art of noticing, about slowing down, about creating space to reset, to breathe, to exist without the weight of expectation. And just as I begin, nature reminds me that I am not alone. A rustle in the bushes, a bird landing just close enough to be curious, the distant call of parakeets, reminding me that spring is near; I'm so happy for my plants :) I pause, mid-thought, caught between words and making sure that I am still in focus on my cameras. This is exactly what I mean, this moment, this interruption. Life is speaking, and I listen. I acknowledge it. I meet it with the same curiosity it offers me; noticing. The lesson is right here: the way I interact with the world around me is the way I interact with myself. Do I rush past, or do I pause? Do I dismiss, or do I engage? In these small encounters, in these seconds of connection across your youtube stream, I find everything I am trying to say. Noticing is an act of love and presence. It is being awake to the life that is always available to us, outside the noise and all of societies pressures to living up to a projecting image of all that we are told to be. It's about being still enough to be human, and not just human-doings, rather beings. So I sit. I breathe. I allow the interruptions, because they are not really interruptions at all. They are invitations, to slow down, to pay attention, to exist in harmony with the moment and notice life outside of the matrix. If you’re longing for a slower, more mindful way of living, this is for you. --- #slowliving #beingpresent this is a moment of presence, a reminder that you are safe, whole, and worthy of peace. The Truth About Burnout: Why Slow Living Is the Real Cure

Burnout isn’t just about working too much, it’s about over-giving, over-functioning, and constantly feeling like you have to prove your worth. Burnout is a state of complete exhaustion, mentally, emotionally, and physically, caused by prolonged stress and overwork. It happens when you push yourself too hard for too long without enough rest or balance, leaving you feeling drained, unmotivated, and disconnected from things you once cared about. It’s more than just being tired; it’s a deep sense of fatigue that makes even small tasks feel overwhelming. Over time, burnout can lead to frustration, cynicism, and a loss of purpose, making it difficult to function in both work and personal life. But what if the real cure isn’t another productivity hack, but slowing down entirely? In this episode of The Slow Living Diaries, I’m sharing the truth about burnout that no one talks about, why traditional self-care isn’t enough, and how slow living became the antidote I didn’t know I needed. If you’ve been feeling exhausted, disconnected, or like life is moving too fast, this video is for you. Mindful Plant Care ASMR | Relaxing Watering & Repotting for Stress Relief

Welcome to another episode of my Slow Living Diaries, a space for quiet moments, mindful rituals, and finding beauty in the present. Today, I’m tending to my houseplants with care and intention, repotting, watering, doing some (LECA) propagation, and dusting leaves, all in a slow, peaceful rhythm. There’s no talking, just the soothing sounds of soil shifting, water pouring, and leaves rustling, paired with soft ambient music. This is a space for you to breathe, relax, and garden with me, or simply watch and unwind. Let this be a reminder to slow down, to nurture what’s growing, and to find joy in small, simple rituals. Whether you’re tending to your own plants, journaling, or just looking for a peaceful background companion, I hope this video brings you a moment of stillness. 🌿 If you enjoy slow living, mindfulness, and plant care, don’t forget to: ✔️ Like the video to support my channel ✔️ Subscribe for more mindful, calming content ✔️ Leave a comment—what’s your favourite slow-living ritual? and please do watch my last video about my plant journey and how my hobby of gardening turned into therapy: https://youtu.be/WgTxPjub1iw?si=IKI3wxAtY5pc54WT #GardenWithMe #MindfulLiving #ASMR #SlowLivingDiaries #HouseplantCare #NoTalking --- this is a moment of presence, a reminder that you are safe, whole, and worthy of peace.
